Easter

Easter was so much fun! It was over conference weekend, so we met up with Sam & Nikki, Nic & Alli, and Mom & Dad in Suriver. The kids have so much fun playing with cousins. We had to dye Easter eggs of course.

Then, when the ladies were out on a bike ride, the menfolk, I mean Easter Bunny, hid candy filled eggs.

 Goody's had to happen.

Easter morning came and the kids all loved their Easter goodies.

I love it when he lays like this. He does it quite frequently. That's a big head to hold up!

We had conference on all weekend, and I love the spirit listening to it brings. It was so fun to see Sam and Nikki and crew and celebrate the resurrection of our Savior.

Cinderella

Taytum's little best friend, Melayia, had a marathon Cinderella birthday party. They went out to lunch, then to see the new Cinderella movie, and then ice skating! Seriously crazy. The girls had such a great time! Taytum, Melayia, and Seattle are best little girlfriends. Taytum, Melayia, and Seattle are best little girlfriends.

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day was grand! Actually, the day before started all the grandness. All that week we had a little mailbox on our counter and if the flag was up, there was mail for the kids. Mostly it would just be in the morning when they woke up, but occasionally there would be a surprise in the afternoon or at some other random moment. The kids all had Valentine's parties in their class, and the Baby B's had a Valentine's party that I helped put together with the little joyschool group.

Carter LOVED his Valentine box this year. So we opted for a picture of it so we could throw it away. :)
And for one of the first times in maybe forever, Jefferson and I actually went out for Valentine's Day! We went to dinner at Biago's with the Ogao's, Stevens, and Jensens. Then we met up with even more friends at the Ross Ragland to see Katie Harman (former Miss America, and local friend) in her concert. It was a super fun time!

Wolf

It happened. Against all odds, Carter got his Wolf in Cub Scouts.
Good job Carter! We are so proud of you!
As a side note, Carter was asked to do the announcing at the beginning for the flag. He got really nervous and a little teary. We talked through how we can do hard things, and that since he had agreed to fulfilling that assignment that he was going to have to do it. He took a big breath and did such a great job. As soon as it was over Carter was all smiles. I was so proud of him for overcoming his fears.
