Sibling picture.... almost

All of our attempts to get a picture of the two siblings together have failed. Here's our most recent attempt. Carter wasn't such a fan of the idea, but at least Andi looks cute. :) We'll try again soon.

Plain White T's - Hey There Delilah

I am lovin' on this song right now... maybe it's because Jefferson sang it to me in bed when it went off as the alarm. :)

And Andi...

Happy Happy Birthday Jefferson Dear...

It is my darling husband's birthday today. Here are a few reasons I am glad he was born:
* He is the most considerate, in tune with his wife, husband that you will ever find.
* Nobody can play "fort" with a one and a half year old like he can.
* He'll rock Andi while he's sitting at the table studying.
* He's not afraid to hold my hand in public.
* He still opens doors for me even though his friends make fun of him for it... apparently chivalry is out this season.
* He doesn't get mad... seriously, he may get hot under the collar for three seconds, and then he's over it... I should take notes.
* He is dang handsome!
* He scratches my legs whenever I ask, and sometimes when I don't even ask.
*He is so patient... good thing because I'm a firecracker in that department.
*He is manly enough to drive a mini van.
*He can adjust me. :) Yum!
*He loves to spend money when I am frugal to a fault. We're a good combo.
*He serenades me in bed in the morning.
* He loves our little family more than anything else in the world.
* And a million more reasons...

Love that man!

These are a few of his favorite things

For those of you who haven't been around Carter in a while, he has all sorts of new favorites. For example, just today we were driving and Jefferson and I look back and he is rocking out to the Nelly song on the radio. He was totally head banging in his seat. Dancing is one of his favorites. He also loves to rock out on the keyboard in the backroom. If my telephone rings (it's a song ringtone) he starts dancing. He'll rock out to Baby Einstein...yes that's classical music.

Doors is another. He loves opening and closing them and then knocking when he's locked out of one. He'll run around with our keys pretending to unlock all the doors. Hilarious.
This one is a good one... he loves wrapping things around his neck. Yes, really safe for a tripping, clumsy, falling one year old to run around with things wrapped around his neck. Strangulation hazard?....perhaps.

Chompers

It's about time... Carter is getting his molars! He only has seven teeth (aka chompers) up front, four on top, two on bottom, and now he has one molar poking through and another one that is so close. We thought for sure that he would be gumming his food for life!

Other good news... Andi slept through the night last night- 10 hours straight! That's two times in the last four nights. Happy mom=Happy home. :)

Big Baby!

Oh yes, Andi had her two month appointment on Friday. She weighed in at 12lbs 10oz, that's the 95th percentile for weight! And she is 25 inches long... that's off the charts for height! She's a healthy eater to say the least. Carter had better start doing some growing!

Sam & Nikki's Wedding

Here's a little wedding album we made from the wedding in May.

Baby Andi's Scrapbook

Growing kids...

Carter took a little trip off the curb. Instead of his hands catching the fall, his face did. It was way more traumatic for mom to see blood on his face than the actual fall was to Carter. He only cried for about 15 seconds. It took less than a week for his face to heal, amazing baby skin!

Carter had fun helping mom make brownies!

Andi has got the smile thing down.

This is her Zoolander face. Just wait for the unveiling of Blue Steel.

Harmon Fam

We are going to try this blog thing. I like that it's easier to journal on than the webpage... that way I can get on here and vent about the ninth poopy blow out that we've had in one day, for example. Hooray! Nothing too exciting to report today. Jefferson has been busy studying this weekend and there are no plans for Labor Day.
