Spring Break 2014

My mom, kids and I headed to Utah for spring break. It's been a couple years since I've been there. Both of my siblings down there have built houses that I haven't seen, and Jefferson's sister had a baby last year that I had yet to meet. The kids were major troopers on the way down, and it was nice having my mom in the car to keep me company.
First things, first. Meeting my nephew Carson. We met up with Abbey, Alex, and Carson and spent the afternoon at the park. He is such a cute boy!

 And Abbey hadn't met Beckett...

 Brothers.
We did so many fun things while we were down there. We went to the Museum of Natural History at Thanksgiving Point. It was awesome. I was surprised at the amount and size of dinosaurs they had there! My kids loved it!

Paleontologists digging for bones...

 T Rex.
Tay's "scared of the shark" look kills me in this one!

We did temple square one day...
Went to see Mr Peabody...

 Went shopping...
Went to Chick-fil-a.... a couple of times. YUM!

Spent an evening at Sam and Nikki's cute house. Sam made bracelets for the kiddos and they thought he was pretty cool.
We took over Summer's house and all my kids had so much fun playing with their cousins!

 We celebrated Remi's  birthday.

Checked out City Creek. I wish we had more time there!
We had a girls night! We met up with my Aunt Jayne, Natalie, Shauna, and Sharon. It had been so long since I'd seen any of the Sargent crew and it was FUN! A big thanks to my brother-in-law Josh who manned all the kids at home so we could go out.
We spent an afternoon at the Discovery Center in downtown SLC.

We spent one of our last days at Hollywood Connection. It's kind of this weird mini amusement park/arcade that the kids LOVED. There were a few rides, bumper cars, miniature golf, a huge play structure, and an arcade.

Beckett probably rode the carousal twenty times and he cried every time we got off, even though it was just to go and scan our wrist bands to get on again.

Taytum and Bentley were in love with the bumper cars. Bentley could barely reach the handles, but she just giggled the whole time she was on them. We also rode these about a hundred times.

These girls...

Since I was down a spouse, my brother Ben was kind enough to help wrangle kids. He took Carter and Andi miniature golf. We didn't see the older kids much. They thought they were pretty cool doing their own thing, being all grown up.
Andi getting golf tips from the pro...
Tuckered this little guy out. Lucky Gramzee!

I feel so incredibly blessed to have these siblings of mine (you too Alli!). They are such wonderful, fun, amazing people with beautiful little families that I am equally in love with.
We had such a fun filled week there. All the kids were troopers and kept up with all the fun! We were very glad to get home to Jefferson though. He was sorely missed by all of us.
