My Miss Bentley is 17 months old.... and still not walking. What a lazy little thing! She's really not. She is actually a very loud and vocal busy body. She is quite the speed crawler and does a decent job walking while holding on to something or somebody, but just gets sick of it after about five feet. I'm really hoping she figures it out by the time she goes into nursery next month, and definitely by the time baby brother comes. Is that too much to ask for? Maybe.
Bentley LOVES to talk and be heard. She squawks so loudly at every mealtime and whenever we are in the car, almost always happy. There is no threat of her ever being looked over. She just loves to jabber. Half in jibberish, and the other half in actual words. She can say so much and strings together a couple of words, like, "a bite" when she wants a bite of something you're having, or "was that?" for what's that, which she asks about everything all day long. She's quite the parrot too and repeats almost anything we say or noises.

Bentley LOVES shoes. She spends a lot of time in everybody's closets, or by the front door, trying on shoes and then attempting to maneuver around the house with too big of shoes on. She also kind of has a fetish with sitting in things. (Do you remember my moving post and there are a number of pictures of her sitting in empty boxes and baskets?)

And I think it's safe to say that Bentley is a major cheeser and flirt and kind of an attention grubber. She loves to make eyes at people until she has their attention and then grins and looks away and does it all over again, especially in church. She really thinks she's funny when she does it.

I suppose we'll keep her... walking or not.

Bo and Rem sound a lot alike! Rem loves shoes and sitting in things, too. Love cute little Bo!

She's definitely getting that toddler look to her and not the baby look anymore!
