We threw Tay a little low key birthday party up at my parent's house. It started raining about twenty minutes before it started, but died down to a drizzle by the time it started and then stopped. It remained overcast, but was plenty warm for swimming, not that we could have stopped Tay from hopping in the pool if we tried. She is such a little fish!

Present opening. Taytum is the most fun person to give presents to. She LOVES everything, and loudly exclaims how much she LOVES every single present, and tells everyone it's just what she wanted! She is awesome.
Then we had cupcakes and presents on her actual birthday. She had Jili over; one of her favorite friends in the whole world.
Oh Tay-ta-tanata... the world would be a much darker place without you in it. You light up a room with your effervescent personality. You love life and people and find joy in all the small things. You make everyone feel like they are your favorite. You are spunky and funny and easy going and tall and beautiful. You are the best at no smiling contests. You love kitties and singing and dancing and dress ups. You sometimes get scared of the dark at night and like your door open and the hall lights on. You are so excited to finally start school (preschool) this fall. You are shiny. We love you so much!!!
