So, we were set to move the Saturday at the end of spring break, so our spring break consisted of a lot of packing and cleaning, but we tried to have some fun amidst the mess!
Ben and Sharon and their family were in town the weekend at the start of spring break. We said goodbye to them on Monday with a farewell breakfast at McD's of course! Taytum cried when she had to say goodbye.
We enjoyed a family dinner at Wubba's to avoid me having to cook in our kitchen towards the end.
We spent an afternoon at Jump N' Jax to release some wiggles:
Our new house has three living rooms, so our one set of furniture was not going to suffice. The kids made themselves at home while we furniture shopped.
Another afternoon was spent at the Children's Museum with Alli and Rev:
Finding toys that have been boxed in the garage for the last 2 1/2 years was magical!
Then, to really be irresponsible, we took a whole day with my mom and went over to Ashland! We hit up Scienceworks, Lithia Park, and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. We had beautiful weather and thoroughly enjoyed shirking our responsibilities.
Then to avoid my kitchen before the move, we spent an evening at the park enjoying pizza, sunshine, and Nic, Alli, Rev, GramZ and Grandpa Paul. Of course, rocks had to be thrown into the lake.
The kids played outside in the rain while we moved our first loads on that Friday.
A little time-out to watch a funny video with Dad.
The kids spent hours and days playing with this really large box. It's the simple things, I tell ya!

Love the Polar Pops in the background! Super necessary during your move I'm sure!
Nothing like packing in all of that fun while trying to move! You did it up right! Thanks for the fun Ashland day!
