We decided on Saturday to head to the Clark C0unty Fair. It was the perfect weather and we had a great time. This year the featured exhibit was "Jaws, Paws, & Claws. " This meant there were lions, tigers, snapping turtles, and sharks, and much more. The kids loved it!
Of course, the cows, sheep, and chickens were a hit too.
And what's a fair without a hamburger, brick of fries, and elephant ear?! YUM!
We kept Tay safely tucked away.
Then we decided to give a few rides a whirl. We definitely have some future roller coaster lovers on our hands.
And to end the afternoon we decided to let the kids play a game. We picked one that guaranteed kids a prize. Well, we didn't need to. We picked the game where you have to throw a bean bag into a clown's mouth. $5 got you three tries. So Carter stands up to throw his first bean bag and hits just below the clown's mouth. So close!! Then the next try goes right in! Fluke, right? No way! He nails his third try too!! That's right... 2 for 3 ain't bad. I couldn't even do that if I tried. Andi was another story. She couldn't even get a bean bag to make it to the other side. So she throws like a girl, so what? :)

So much fun. Tulelake fair the 11 - 12 of Sept. I have women's retreat til about 11 on Saturday but you could come up and do crafts and then we could head to the fair in the afternoon on Saturday!
Looks like a super fun day. I miss the Tulelake fair! My vote is with Mama Z there, and visit North Cali for the big weekend. Some of my best memories were made at that fair! Hugs, you look Fab!! Dani!

Fairs are the funnest! That same exact shark exhibit was at the El Dorado County fair that we went to a while back! I have pictures of the kids in that cage and stuff too. Seeing your pics made me so happy because it's like we practically went together!! Carter and Galla together (running away) again. He totally made those awesome bean bag shots to impress Galla, eh?! :)
So your kids are so stinkin cute and you are a super model. Lucky you is right. "I just had a baby and can slip my size 4's on. Look at me!" Hee hee just teasing-you are adorable and so is your whole cute fam!
