C Mac

Hmmmm... what to say about Carter. He is growing up so fast and amazes me every day.
He actually has had quite a few little tantrums since we moved. I don't know if it's the move or the age or what, but it needs to stop. Carter also has a lot of sass in him. I also don't know how to get that to stop. When he isn't sassing or throwing a tantrum, he really is a lot of joy.
*He is a smart little boy and retains so much. It's amazing what he remembers. You can't sneak anything by him.
*He is on this "We don't eat..." kick. It's kind of weird. He'll randomly state things that we don't eat. Like today, Jefferson was tying his shoe and he said, "Dad, we don't eat shoes." He's randomly said that about clothes, caterpillars, and other random things.
*He is slowly learning his letters. Granted I haven't worked really hard at it with him, but he also doesn't have a lot of interest. He's too busy bouncing around doing other things.
*He loves playing football and soccer in the backyard and anything else that involves running and/or jumping.
*Carter talks ALL the time!!! Honestly, if he's not talking it's because he's sleeping.
*He is super polite and almost always remembers to say "please" and "thank you."
*He loves to play the piano.
*Both he and Andi are good at remembering to say prayers and read our scriptures. We never miss a night!
*The only time he isn't running or jumping or moving is when he is watching a movie or reading books.
*He LOVES books.
*Some of his favorite movies right now are "Meet the Robinson's" and "Toy Story" (still).
*He is skinny skinny skinny!! I had him stand on a scale today and with shoes and everything on it said he was 32 pounds.
*He is very good about taking care of Taytum. If she's crying in the car he'll talk to her and try to console her. He always makes sure to wipe up her slobber or spit up if I don't notice it first. He puts blankets on her. And he'll just sit next to her on the floor and look at her or talk to her or gently pet her head. He's a good big brother (most of the time).
*He and Andi are still the best of playmates. They love each other. He always climbs onto her bed at bedtime and gives her hug and a kiss. Then he'll blow her a kiss at the door. It will be a sad day when that stops.

Hopping is the word I would use to describe Carter - constantly hopping! Talk about ripped calves!

You have ADORABLE little kids, both with great personalities. Ava is at the "Every color is PINK" stage, too funny that Andi did that to. I LOL'd when you wrote Carter was 32 lbs w/ clothes on, Ava is about 35...big girl. I'm sure Baby sister Taytum have great examples to look up to!

So great to see that your children also have tantrums - I hope they outgrow it as well.
You are so blessed with wonderful children!
